Aloha! My name is Bethany. I work with leaders who would like to bring their community to experience the majesty of the islands of Hawaii.
A retreat holds space for many intentions. Whether going deep into an immersive study, exploring a passion, or welcoming adventure and wonder. Choosing a retreat is saying yes to the time and space for reconnecting with yourself, nature and a like minded community. It provides opportunity for growth, integration and coming home to ones natural rythms.
The Big Island of Hawai’i emanates raw beauty and powerful Mana (spiritual energy). It is the land of Pele, the Volcano Goddess, who is the body of the island itself. Pele is also lovingly called Tutu, or Grandmother, as she loves her children and gives them everything they need. This is the essence one is invited to experience simply by Being on the Aina (land); the abundant resonance that we are loved, infinitely provided for and we are enough.
My husband Tyler was born and raised on the Garden Isle of Kauai. Together we purchased 3 acres of land, in 2017, that we lovingly steward on the east side of Hawai’i Island. We live sustainably with nature in our off grid cabins, growing food, planting trees and raising our three year old son Jai who was born on this volcano. It is truly our joy to share the land, the culture and the way of life that is unique to this sacred land in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

January 23-30, 2026 | Hawaiian Paradise Park
This intimate retreat will be an experience of a lifetime as we connect with the beauty and power of nature. We will be sharing 7 nights on the gorgeous Big island of Hawaii. We will be staying in a cliffside home on the east side (jungle side) of the island. You will be greeted on the evening of the 23rd with a traditional Hawaiian lei. Dinner will be included this evening, but most flights arrive fairly late and with extended travel time most people are pretty tired upon arrival. The retreat will officially begin on the morning of the 24th with a beautiful Yoga practice, tropical breakfast and welcome circle.
Every morning will begin with a Yoga and mindfulness practice to invite presence and vitality into your experience. Daily adventures will spark awe and wonder and include, hiking at Volcano National Park ( the home of Pele the Goddess of the Volcano), exploring Botanical gardens, waterfalls and beach parks where local turtles (honu) call home. We will immerse ourselves into the rhythm of the island and experience a taste of Hawaii at a local farm. There will be choose your own adventure time and space for rest, a massage, swimming in the pool or soaking in the jacuzzi under the most brilliant night sky you will ever see. This curated retreat will be like no other because Bethany lives on the Big Island and aims to offer a true experience of Hawaii.
Where will we stay:
Escape to your own tropical oasis in our beautiful retreat house located steps away from the stunning and rugged coastline in Hawaiian Paradise Park. Located on the last road before the cliffs, this quiet location will allow you to listen to the waves, the orchestra of birds and coqui frogs sining you to sleep at night. Read a book by the pool or soak in the jacuzzi under the stars. Yoga practice will be poolside or on our covered jungle lanai depending on weather. Walking from this home, along the cliffs, is awe inspiring and it is the perfect base for our adventures.

Getting there:
Hilo International Airport (ITO) is 25 minutes away from the retreat house. You can expect at least one layover from the east coast-if not two. There are Direct flights from JFK and Boston airport to Honolulu where you will hop on a small plane to big Island. Airport transport is included from Hilo Airport. There is an airport in Kona-about 2 hours away that may have different options. Airport transfer is NOT included from Kona airport so you will need to rent a car or find alternative transportation to come to the other side of the island. Sometimes purchasing two one way tickets ends up being more cost effective than a roundtrip ticket.
Bethany is happy to help with logistics-no worries! I have travelled back and forth many times from the east coast to Hawaii, sometimes direct flights and other times spending a few days in California. I am happy to offer ideas that can be helpful!
